Dubpod started the same way a lot of good camping ideas do: from our own trips.
We’re campervan people ourselves. Weekends away, last-minute road trips, finding a quiet spot to park up somewhere scenic. And if you’ve ever travelled in a campervan, you’ll know the one thing you’re always short on… space.
Somewhere to cook without juggling pans. Somewhere to sit when the weather turns. Somewhere to kick off your boots and properly relax.
That’s where the idea for Dubpod came from.
We wanted to create something that gave campervans a bit more breathing room. A proper space beside the van that still felt like camping. Not a plastic add-on, but something that had the same warmth and atmosphere as the canvas tents many of us grew up with.
So we built Dubpod around natural cotton canvas. It breathes better, feels more comfortable to spend time in, and creates that classic canvas camping feel that makes being outside even better.
Everything we design comes back to one simple idea: making campervan adventures easier and more enjoyable. A place to cook, sit, store gear, escape the rain, or just enjoy the moment.
Because for us, campervan travel has never just been about the van.
